Among wide range of variable speed drives available, Induction Motor Drive has gained wide research interests in Automation Industry. In this work, modeling, simulation & switching patterns generation of voltage source inverter (VSI) for Induction Motor (IM) drive is developed, studied and analysed. In general, validation of any control in power converters is determined by proper switching patterns. In case of VSI fed IM, the excitation to stator phases to meet the required voltage is maintained by switching of VSI.
