Cities were starting to have a modern look with concrete buildings, continents were developing. Industrial Formwork Systems were being used to reshape the concrete. In 1980, we started production in Istanbul in order to produce formwork and scaffolding systems, which I observed for many years in Europe, and to be a solution partner. Our aim was to be a service center throughout all stages, starting from the project up to sales and including after-sales supervising services. Our company, which develops and grows every day due to our philosophy of continuous improvement, reached a capacity of 45.000 tons/year in 15.000 and 25.000 m2 production factories, which is equipped with the state of the art technology. Urtim has achieved an export rate of 70%, with sales to the USA, European, African, Middle East, and Asian countries, and presented the Turkish industry in many projects.
