The Mães Guerreiras da Luz Cultural Institute works to promote citizenship as a right for all, in the quest to minimize social differences, prejudice and violence, raising the self-esteem of women, children, adolescents and young people living in the neighborhood of Dom José Rodrigues and surroundings, through social, cultural and sporting projects. Also generating income for women, through a socio-solidarity economy, promoting professional qualification courses, in the area of crafts, gastronomy, promotion and / or production of artistic shows, information, leisure and sports.
