HISSA Nepal is dedicated and committed to the aim of preserving our rich cultural heritage and uplifting the socio economic status of the community and its children who are deprived from basic education and primary health care without access to clean water, sanitation and awareness on environment issues. We are working to eradicate poverty and promote sustainable development where people lack access to even the most basic of services. HISSA Nepal works in particular with those in the more vulnerable group of society such as children women and those of lower castes and illiterate. Currently, many schools have identified a teacher to address the issues of gender and child protections. For better management, the package highlights the need to assign separate focal persons for disasters and gender equality and social inclusion issues. The package focuses more on disaster preparedness- unlike the traditional focus on disaster response- and also cover the issues of inclusiveness, child protection and School as a zone of peace. We implements our program through the coordination with( Local Government) Kamala mai Municipality under the supervision of Board of Director of HISSA NEPAL along with participation of local people.
