Child Rights and Peoples Welfare Society is an independent non-governmental social developmental organisation whose aim is to bring sustainable development in tribal areas of Uttarakhand since 2016. An initiative taken by the youth of Uttarakhand in order to improve the quality of education, health and sanitation sectors in tribal areas. CRPWS is working from November 2016 on ‘Capacity Building Training Programme’ based on building journalism skills among tribal adolescents in Jaunsar Bawar, Uttarakhand. It is a subsidiary organization of GRASS (Gramin Sudhar Avam Shramik Seva Sanstha) established in 1993, specialized in fields such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Biomass Utilization, Disaster Management, Food and Water Preservation and Power Generation through Watermills.
