COTFONE is is a non-profit organization based in Kiwangala in Southern Uganda. COTFONE’s mission is to support disadvantaged children in the area of Greater Masaka. The organization’s activities especially target orphans and vulnerable children who are lacking education and employable skills and are affected by poverty. COTFONE thus tries to increase the children’s access to education, contribute to poverty alleviation and improve community members’ health and nutrition. In addition COTFONE advocates for the promotion of human rights and environmental protection. There are sixteen employees contributing to the organization’s activities.
