About us HISTORY Volunteer in Vietnam for Community Development (VVCD) is a Vietnamese social enterprise which is legally registered in 2015. VVCD is addressing development issues in Vietnam with particular focuses on children support through social inclusion, youth development through international exchange, women empowerment through sustainable livelihood support and non-formal education. VVCD will contribute and play a small role in the development of the disadvantaged people of the world through the unique programs that it offers to those who have a true compassion to help others, a compassion that only comes with sincere thought. MISSION Our mission is to promote voluntary work and to attract international and local volunteers, with the primary aim of nurturing cultural and educational exchange, friendship while caring for disadvantaged people. We offer opportunities for people to share their skills with those who are most in need, and in doing so, we provide a platform for the exchange of cultures, and caring. As more and more people join us, we desire to create a multi-national community with a passion to serve, to learn, to understand, to teach, to inspire, and to be inspired.
