Aswat Nissa is a non-governmental organization created in 2011 from the will of a group of women and men in order to allow Tunisian women, from all backgrounds and origins, to take their voices and take the place that it's theirs in society. We dream of a society where the woman is really the equal of the man. We dream of a society where the woman is an active partner for the construction of a fair Tunisia for all her children. We dream of a woman who is aware of her rights and fights for them, of a woman who is aware of her duties and who accomplishes them with such determination. Utopia? Perhaps. But we believe that changes in society are accomplished only by dreams and utopias. Long live the free, independent and responsible woman. Long live the women.
