We are the University Agency for the Management of Entrepreneurship of the University of Costa Rica. We were born in November 2012 as a unit specialized in the creation and acceleration of companies and knowledge-intensive entities, attached to the Vice-rectorate of Research, operating with the financial and logistical support of the UCR Foundation. In our entrepreneurial community, we provide training, promote entrepreneurship within the University, and drive innovative projects and dynamic organizations to contribute to inclusive and sustainable development. We seek the dynamic element of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem of Costa Rica and the Region. We are committed to increasing the chances of success of entrepreneurship by opportunity, to be creative, dynamic and sustainable, and we do it, through a practical and innovative management, based on collaboration, support and partnerships. We serve both a population of the university community and external, assuming the commitment to democratize access to knowledge for the birth and / or development of more and better companies, for the purpose of profit, contributing to the social and economic development of the country.
