The purpose of Youth for Human Rights International is to teach young people about human rights, specifically the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and inspire them to become valued advocates of tolerance and peace. In Venezuela, the Youth for Human Rights campaign aims to raise public awareness about human rights using informational and educational materials such a broadcasting and informative flyers. To cover a greater number of people the activities are distributed in lectures to schools, to universities, to government institutions, workshops, conferences in remote areas, theater performance, cultural events and mass media broadcasting through the social media.
