Creche Escola Frutos de Mãe: It all started back in 1988 with a woman known as "Tia Mira" (Aunt Mira), that decided to welcome in her own house kids that lived in places with little to no infraestructure and also lived in hunger. At first she took care of 5 kids, whose mothers had to work (or were looking for jobs) all day, by the second week there were thirty, and now the Creche takes care of 120 kids, and it's constantly on the verge of having its doors closed, due to lack of funds to maintain the NGO.
