PONGANIC is a Startup based in Vienna. We are a small team of 4 people that will rock the field of urban farming and city food. By the end of next year we will integrate an Aquaponics system into an apartment-building. That means, we will breed fish and vegetables in a circulating system. The waste of the fish is used as fertilizer for the plants. The plants clean the water for the fish. So we will become city-farmers. On our journey to reach that goal, we decided to start a grocery store in Vienna, where we start to sell fish, and vegetables as well as regional products. Because we want to sell as many goods as possible directly in B2C in the future. But we also plan to serve restaurants in Vienna as well as an online shop. We are also working on product development relating convenience food (with fish).
