Culturplay is a Greek game and software studio with a focus on history & cultural heritage.Culturplay was founded in 2013 by Alexandros Giannakidis, software engineer, and Lida Mantzourani, historian. They teamed up to blend gaming and history. Culturplay’s most recent work is Secrets of the Past – Excavating the City of Zeus, a simulation game for iOS and Android devices. The company’s other works include the Acropolis Virtual Tour in web edition and in iOS edition, and the Epidavros Virtual Tour. Culturplay’s debut product in development, “Polis Kratos”, is a PC 4X strategy game about politics and philosophy in ancient Athens.
