The Autism Society Philippines (ASP) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of persons with autism spectrum disorder. The ASP has been in the forefront of providing services and training to families living with autism. Autism Society Philippines Laguna Chapter (ASP Laguna) is one of 68 chapters of Autism Society Philippines. It was established in October 1997 and accredited by the ASP National Office in April 1998. It was organized primarily to reach out to parents of children with autism who could not afford expensive special education. Nowadays, it conducts public information campaigns, advocacy, education and training, family support services, linkages and networking and other special projects. Its office is located in Los Baños, Laguna. ASP Laguna implements the Work, Live and Play Program for Young Adults with Autism and Related Disorders at its Autism Resource Center based in Los Baños, Laguna. This program provides opportunities for these individuals to work in their chosen interests, participate in social and recreational activities and be integrated in an enabling community.
