Yayasan Pendidikan Kalimantan is an educational institution which is located in West Borneo. There are several units under the institution, two of them are Karya Yosef Elementary School and Santu Petrus Junior High School. Karya Yosef Elementary School and Santu Petrus Junior High School are private Catholic Schools. Currently, In Karya Yosef Elementary School there are 25 classes with up to 1000 students. While in Santu Petrus Junior High School, there are 20 classes with up to 850 students which occupy a four-storey building. There are also a science laboratory, a computer laboratory, a multimedia room, library, hall, four basketball courts, and four volleyball courts available for students to use. The language of instructions in class is Indonesian although English and Chinese are commonly used in English and Chinese classes.Besides, there are also a lot of extracurricular activities available for students, such as English Speaking Club, Chinese Speaking Club, Japanese Speaking Club, Wushu, Tae-kwondo, Science Club, Scouts, Basketball, Volleyball, Athletics, Modern Dance, Kolintang (Traditional music), Chinese Traditional Music, Photography, Drawing, Handicraft, and Animation Design for Beginner.
