Youth for Development (YFD), a non-profit organization, was established in 2008 to empower young people and provide them with proper means to participate effectively in the community. The main purpose behind establishing YFD was first to resume the implementation of the successful youth vocational training program that was originally initiated by “Norwegian People’s Aid”(NPA) back in 1984, and second to address the Palestinian young people’s needs and problems that have not been fundamentally covered by the initial youth and vocational training program.
