Rotaract, whose name comes from "Rotary in Action" ("Rotary in Action") is a program of Rotary International, made up of young men and women aged between 18 and 30 years inclusive. Rotaract shares with Rotary the philosophy of consciousness and international brotherhood, solidarity, friendship with vocation and service attitude, ethics in business, professions and trades, and service in contrast to the beneficence as the best way to achieve peace in the world. It is a nondenominational, nonpartisan organization, and includes in its youth membership with diverse personal and religious beliefs and ideologies. Rotaract is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to developing the leadership of its partners, promote friendship and provide service to the community through diverse projects that can sustain each club individually, or allied with other clubs the whole world.
