To promote social transformation of the youth living in the outskirts of the Federal District was created R.U.A.S - Sociocultural Network Shares Urbana, a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (OSCIP). STREETS believes that the change in the social environment in which the young are inserted can only from the occupation of public spaces to practice healthy and recreational activities, artistic manifestations of urban culture music, dance, sports, education, community communication, social entrepreneurship. Being the young country's future, it is essential to think and discuss public policies that guarantee rights, meet the needs, promote opportunities and provide subsidies for youth to express themselves, experiment, learn and develop the full potential it has. The R.U.A.S argues that the street is, rather, a place of experience, living and staying healthy, so it seeks to draw out the best and positive it has to offer. The network respects the young and sees him as a citizen in training that can and should emerge as rights agent, strong, active, which needs to be included in the social environment. Not from welfarism, only, but of gender equity and opportunity, freedom, balance and social justice. Starting from this premise and design, promote youth empowerment, bridging social work base and production of events focusing on urban culture.
