Fundación Stefano Steenbakkers Betancourt, Corp. was established in San Juan, Puerto Rico by Zorimar Betancourt, Stefano’s mother, in October, 2012 as a nonprofit organization whose main purpose is raising awareness among our citizens about the need of organ donors in our country and around the world. It is constituted as an instrument for gifting life, with love, as a legacy to Stefano's dream…Change the World. Our main purpose is to spread the message of love through our country, urging our citizens to register as organ and tissue donors, which is a GIFT OF LIFE, that doesn’t cost a thing and has an incalculable price. We want this effort to reach the most amount of people as possible, so that Stefano’s legacy can live on forever.
