NADIM, a family business currently managed by Adham and Hend Nadim, was established by Dr.Asaad Nadim and Dr.Nawal El Messiri in 1978, at which point it was made up of a single room and only four employees. Over the years NADIM expanded steadily to reach the point at which it is at today. In 1994 NADIM took on the six-year-long restoration and conservation project of Bayt El Suhaymi with full force, which lead to the National Historic Cairo Restoration project. Nadim moved their factory to Abu Rawash in 2001 and within a few years, expanded their grounds to 43,000 Square-Meters whilst upgrading to more modern machinery.
