The Nguyen Dinh Chieu School (NDC) is special school serves visually impaired (VI) students. Now we work as a resource center for supporting many another special schools and mainstream school of Ho Chi Minh city and provinces. We give the best opportunity to all visually impaired children to be able to access to education at the right time, to build up their independence and give them a chance to integrate with the social community. We are caring and educating for 230 VI children in HCM City and other provinces. We are serving in early intervention, primary, secondary, high school and vocational training. NDC utilizes published media to raise awareness and encourage blind or visually impaired children to participate in programs offered at NDC. We also provide professional training for teachers who are working with students with visual impairment in special school of Southern Vietnam.
