Acorde is the short for Associação de Capacitação, Orientação e Desenvolvimento do Excepcional (Association to develop, orientate and train the exceptional). It was founded in 19889 for a group of mothers who needed a differentiated service for their children who had special needs. The objective of the NGO is to develop the skills of their students, improving its capacities and incentivating their social inclusion.
