"Friends of Environment and Development Association (FEDA)", a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) major goal is the implementation of the recommendations of the UNDP sponsored “Strategies for Sustainable Development in Egypt” with special reference to fragile ecosystems (Desert, Coastal Areas, and Historical Areas).Since 1999, FEDA concentrated its activities on Historic Cairo (Gamalia district).
