It's no coincidence that we continue to expand this “Vorsprung” – or advantage – when it comes to our product portfolio, production sites and human resource development as well. Indeed, it is the result of a consistent corporate policy and brand philosophy. Around the world, about 70,000 employees contribute their share to ensuring that people all over the world are delighted by the Audi brand. To secure the company’s “Vorsprung durch Technik” for the long term, we plan to invest more than €13 billion between 2011 and 2016, primarily in new products and the development of production capacities. We are currently expanding our site in Győr (Hungary). Production was launched in late 2013 in Foshan (China), and will launch in 2016 in San José Chiapa (Mexico).
