Discover is the first project of our non-formal education cycle for youth. We truly believe that in education resides the key for the future. Our vision is that the children of today will feel connected to the world and self-aware to constantly learn from every experience they live, and thus they’ll become the best version of themselves. Social Problem definition Right now the outcome of the educational system is children with a bunch of facts and formulas but very little practical capacities to solve problems, interaction with the environment and understanding of themselves and others with different perspectives. When they grow older, they have a limited perception of the world and lack the self-confidence, ambition and desire to do something beyond the status quo and explore all the possibilities of the things they can do and learn. The Business Idea We seek to offer the children sessions held by international volunteers which will give them a real cross-cultural understanding and will improve their soft skills and English skills, ultimately making them more self-aware. The English language is the most practical result of the project (something tangible the parents will see, for example), but in reality it is just a tool for the cultural and skills development, which is the core of the project.
