Learn a little bit about this organization

The University of Humanities and Social Sciences (FCHS) of UNESP, Franca, is a center of excellence in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences in the north of São Paulo. It offers a course of history updated and dynamic, the only free course of social work throughout the state, one of the best and busiest in the country law schools, as well as a course in International Relations, established in 2002. The unit was established in 1962, named Faculty of Philosophy, Science and Letters of Franca, one of the Higher Education isolated institutes of the State of São Paulo. In 1968, its facilities were transferred to one of the oldest historical monuments, the College of Our Lady of Lourdes (Nossa Senhora de Lourdes), traditional breed Francano with 110 years of existence. In 1976, along with other isolated institutes, it was incorporated into the UNESP. The FCHS has 90 teachers - most with full dedication to teaching and research - and about 1,900 undergraduate and graduate. In addition to the curricular activities, the college provides a good framework for placements and provides a number of incentives such as scholarships for scientific activities, since graduation.
