Life Solidarity is voluntary and charitable organization, active in the fight against social exclusion of vulnerable groups such as poor families, the homeless, refugees, migrants, minor abandoned and abused children, socially disadvantaged and threatened by social marginalization. Purpose of Life Solidarity is the development partners, between institutions and citizens in support of vulnerable groups living in deprived conditions and difficulty in social and economic life, suffering from poverty and have no opportunities to create conditions for a decent and living. The Life Solidarity, in cooperation with the 4i'DYPE Macedonia-Thrace and other similar bodies, trying to better serve vulnerable groups and to collect relief items both in the office and a warehouse in the center of town. There collected articles of clothing of all ages, school supplies, toys, books, furniture, food, wheelchairs, medical supplies and more to support families living below the poverty line. At the same time, develops partnerships with institutions, nursing homes and various agencies that support respective populations for the delivery of the material in order to serve vulnerable groups and improving collaboration. Life Solidarity works on the 7th floor of the street King Heraklion Thessaloniki where you will find the Trifon Trajan responsible for social action institution. The organization today consists of 40-50 families or citizens and continually develop by writing new volunteers who have the will and desire to help in this fight. The action is not limited in Thessaloniki but extends to Chalkidiki, Serres, Kavala, Pieria, Imathia, Xanthi, Komotini and aspiration is to cover the whole Greek territory (and not only). Any social organization may be addressed to Life Solidarity through social service and send needy families who have contacted them for help. The goal is to help people in need wherever they come from. The only condition is that citizens or families who approach the organization for help to have certificates from social organizations that really need it. Not everybody can come and declare destitute and require help, for no social institution can confirm this with a document. The Life Solidarity operates with absolute transparency about it all the material donations received by donation and acceptance certificates are attributed to beneficiaries signing of minutes confirming the 'what' and 'when' was received. The needs of the body are many everyday and not only limited to basic necessities and supply of volunteers who are willing to strengthen this work and devote some of their free time to help their fellow man in need. Each volunteer help is accepted to enable the life Solidarity to develop and deliver even more to the people who really need it.
