he KAYANY Foundation is a Lebanese Non-Governmental Organization (registration no.1806) founded in 2013. _____________________________________ Established in response to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon, Kayany delivers aid and initiates projects in informal tented settlements within the Bekaa governorate and its surrounding areas. Kayany projects are guided by the principles of: Meeting the basic needs of Syrian refugee children; such as sufficient access to food, water, sanitation, and healthcare. Ensuring that formal education is free, accessible, and available to all Syrian refugee children at primary and secondary school levels. Mitigating the social isolation of children by taking measures to address the psychological and social well being of children. Kayany has effectively coordinated with UNHCR, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Social Affairs, and number of other (I)NGO partners to ensure timely and coherent implementation of all projects.
