Unite Lebanon Youth Project (ULYP) was established in 2010 to address the issues of youth disengagement and social inequality facing marginalized youth living in Lebanon. ULYP aims to unite underprivileged children and young adults and give them the necessary tools to break the cycle of violence and build a peaceful, united society. ULYP’s programs play an active role in instilling the values of respect, citizenship, and cooperation in the youth of Lebanon’s often conflicting communities. ULYP contributes to the effort of ending the marginalization of underprivileged youth by providing access to educational and recreational activities and opportunities to meet, understand, and accept each other. ULYP is based on the belief that education, in its broadest definition, is the best investment. By taking part in the planning and implementation of our programs, you will encourage undeserved children, youth and women to become responsible, engaged citizens, and you will enable them to make a positive social change. At ULYP we aim to return our program participants to their communities with new ideas about each other and about their rights and responsibilities, with a shared vision for the future: a united Lebanon.
