Siven is a unique and original concept in the City of Dalian, China. We combine English language tuition with Academic and Vocational courses, in the context of British culture and methodology. Here at Siven, staff and students can enjoy a fresh new perspective when it comes to learning. Our multi-faceted approach ensures that students are able to grow and develop at their own pace, guided by their tutor and encouraged to think creatively and laterally. We aim to equip students not just with academic knowledge, but with practical, interpersonal and innovative skills. We recognise that in a globalised world, our young people need to learn globalised skills; they must be able to adapt to a variety of cultures and working methods, and show resourcefulness and self-confidence beyond the classroom. As a result, our three main specialised subjects are English Language, Art & Design and Business Studies. However, we also offer Maths, Science, Sport, Hospitality Studies, Work Skills and several other courses. Our classes are small and our teachers offer bespoke classes according to the students needs, interests and ability. Students are able to benefit from their teacher’s wealth of experience in both the teaching and professional sphere. We offer a variety of courses and subjects to suit any ability or age group, whether a ten-year-old at ‘Beginner’ level, a fifteen-year-old ‘Intermediate’, or a twenty-year-old who is proficient but needs guidance in applying their English language skills to a business environment.
