Learn a little bit about this organization
Many third sector organizations offer some kind of social assistance, in the form of language, providing the people in the community a chance to fight for better jobs and living conditions. In Brazil, less than 5% of the population speaks intermediate English and only 1% is fluent. X4Change aims to bring English/Spanish speakers to teach children and teenagers, we want them to valorize their education and their future and learn that there are different realities in the world. By bringing exchange participants, we want to enlarge the worldview of them by a cultural and learning environment and build capacity so they can have better chances for their future. The project works in NGO’s and schools for kids and teenagers aged from 6 to 16 years.
