Job Description2 The intern will help in the decision making process of the organization; teach moral behaviors to the children, and will further help the children in practical skills accordingly. Job Description3 The intern will provide psychological support and counselling to the children and will also help to teach the children how to express their feelings since they lack parental care. Job Description4 In addition to education provided by the the interns they will also help in raising funds for the orphanage to provide the children with the needed basic needs. Job Description5 The intern are expected to teach English and maths and also share the culture of their country origin and also they are advised to be open to the Ugandan culture. Preparation required from the intern before arrival An intern is required to pay 35$ for airport pick up,and 100 dollars for Administration fee and for East Africans it is 50 dollars. Accomodation is free. The intern is required to read about the culture of Uganda. The intern may also need to prepare financially for the trips they may want to go on around the country. Details on the Working Conditions Personal Workspace Any Other Other Details of the Working Conditions The accommodation is next to the working place so transport fees are minimized. Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship The intern will gain hands on experience that students do not get in the classroom. They will be trained and given the experience they will need to get a job. The interns will get the experience, educational skills, and build a common understanding among educators. The interns will broaden their experiences of teaching in Ugandan schools. Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship A lot of openness, patience and motivation is required when working with the children.
