About

Learn a little bit about this organization

The Kuching Autistic Association (KAA) was formed by a group of parents of autistic children and professionals on 18 January, 1998 and was registered as a non-government organization (NGO) on 6 May, 1998. The Association runs an Educational and Pre-vocational Training Centre in its own premises. KAA is formed with the vision of enabling people with autism to achieve their full potential in living useful, independent and economically productive lives and our missions are as follow: 1. To provide educational and training opportunities for children and young persons with autism, through appropriate intervention programmes. 2. To equip care-givers and parents of people with autism with coping skills and training skills through seminars and support groups. 3. To develop public awareness of autism and promote community involvement and support for people with autism and their families. We sincerely hope to have passionate people on the team to help further our goals and achievements of the organisation.
