In Malaysia's progress to achieving our goal as a high income nation in year 2020, there are certain to be people who will be left behind in the country's forward march. These people are not just marginalised communities in the rural areas, they are to be found in urban cities too. Hence, SKUP was formed to assist the urban poor irrespective of race or creed and with the objectives of: 1. To provide the basic needs to the urban poor such a meal a day 2. To help families living below the poverty lines to be employed with better income 3. To provide skill training and financial assistance to them to eventually become self-reliant We hope to have passionate people on the team to help with our mission of eradicating urban poor in Kuching city.
