This project aims to provide an opportunity and platform for career guidance and instil a mentality among targeted participants, whereby to pursue their career based on interest and not through the influence of various sources. We aim to create awareness regarding the career issues faced among students of secondary and tertiary institutions. Students exposed to this issue would have a clearer understanding of the issue and have a notion on how to prepare to face it in future, by well equipping themselves with various knowledge and skills in obtaining a good career. This project is in partnership with Leaderonomics. Leaderonomics is a social enterprise dedicated to transforming developing nations through leadership development. We believe that leadership is what makes nations, organisations and communities great. Similarly, lack of leadership destroys and diminishes societies. Their goal is to enable every single person to fulfill their potential as the leader they were meant to be. We dream of bringing leadership development to the remotest parts of developing nations, ensuring that everyone who aspires to be a leader, is provided the tools and processes to enable them to “build communities of love”. OBJECTIVES: 1) Instil a career awareness among the targeted audience 2) Give the targeted audience a better picture of the career they about to pursue 3) Expose students to current global issues. 4) Create a suitable platform and environment for the students to discover their talents. 5) Nurture confidence in students and encourage students to be independent in decision making. 6) Recognise the inner potential of every students and encourage students not to give up on their in-born talents.
