Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introducing students to the case study challenge and helping them understand the problem they are expected to solve.
Meeting student teams and getting familiar with their members, interests and initial ideas.
Participating in the creation and preparation of the business case study together with the project organizers.
Getting familiar with the business case study competition format and the expectations for mentors.
Introduction to Savremena gimnazija, the SkillUp project, its organizers and objectives.
Planning the mentoring process and establishing communication with assigned teams.
Week 2
Conducting weekly mentoring meetings with assigned student teams.
Guiding students through the process of researching and understanding the business case study.
Encouraging students to identify key challenges, explore different perspectives and generate potential solutions.
Supporting teamwork, critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Providing constructive feedback and helping students structure their initial ideas.
Attending workshops held by entrepreneurs and guest speakers from different companies.
Week 3
Attending additional workshops and sessions with entrepreneurs and business professionals.
Continuing weekly mentoring meetings and monitoring the progress of student teams.
Helping students develop, improve and structure their proposed business solutions.
Encouraging students to consider the feasibility, potential impact and practical implementation of their ideas.
Providing feedback on students' research, arguments and proposed solutions.
Supporting teams in preparing their final presentations and communicating their ideas effectively.
Week 4
Conducting final mentoring meetings and helping teams finalize their case study solutions.
Reviewing presentations and providing final constructive feedback before the competition closing.
Supporting students in preparing for the presentation of their solutions.
Attending the final presentations and closing event of the SkillUp competition.
Participating in the evaluation of the competition together with project organizers and other mentors.
Reflecting on the mentoring experience and the development of student teams throughout the project.
