Project
Theatre: Express, Perform & Inspire Theatre is a four-week Global Volunteer project in Sfax, Tunisia, designed to help children aged 6–12 develop confidence, communication, creativity, and self-expression through interactive theatre and performing arts activities. The project creates a supportive environment where children can explore storytelling, acting, improvisation, body language, voice expression, and collaborative performance. Through drama games, role-play, creative storytelling, character development, and group performances, children will have opportunities to express their ideas, explore different perspectives, and build confidence in front of others. International volunteers will collaborate with the hosting organization to prepare and facilitate practical theatre workshops, encourage participation, and introduce storytelling traditions and theatrical approaches from different cultures. Throughout the four weeks, children will progress from simple drama exercises to developing characters, creating short scenes, and preparing a collaborative theatre performance. By the end of the project, participants are expected to demonstrate greater confidence in expressing themselves, improved communication and collaboration, and increased willingness to participate in creative group activities. Find Your Voice. Own the Stage. Tell Your Story.
