Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introductory session with the beneficiaries, introducing the volunteers and project goals.
Create an implementation plan detailing how the project should unfold and determining the materials to be used.
Prepare the activities to be carried out in the coming weeks and receive feedback from partners and AIESEC.
Run the initial assessment needed to measure the outcome/impact of the project.
Onboarding the space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, the beneficiaries, and to discuss the project outcome.
Week 2
Conduct entry-level artistic activities with the beneficiaries so they get their first hands-on contact with various art materials and media (e.g., drawing vs. painting, sculpture, photography, etc.).
Break down the final project into smaller tasks and define responsibilities for each part of the creative process.
Organize a brainstorming session where team members share ideas, themes, and inspiration for the project.
Build and present the activity calendar tailored to the beneficiaries, covering everything from practical learning to hands-on practice (e.g., peer-to-peer mentoring, chain drawings, puzzles, etc.).
Deliver interactive workshops throughout the week to understand the beneficiaries' artistic mediums, as well as their personal and professional dreams for the future.
Week 3
Set aside time for individual or group reflection on personal artistic project goals. Participants can discuss what they hope to achieve or learn during the process.
Icebreaker / Dynamic: Set up a short, fun challenge, such as creating a piece of art within a limited time or using specific materials.
Create a Personal Development Plan for each participant to track their weekly progress through a coaching system.
Organize a workshop where participants can collaborate on a small artwork or experiment with different project-related media (e.g., painting, sculpture, digital design).
Work on an initial draft of the main design piece (e.g., the first scenes of a play, the first brushstrokes of a mural painting, etc.) and then hold a feedback session with beneficiaries, mentors, or partner representatives.
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.).
Week 4
Debrief on the impact of the project and how the beneficiaries grew; discuss what went well and what went even better, ensuring this is included in the report.
Analyze the data to determine outcomes/impact (the awareness level of the beneficiaries regarding post-project activities).
Draft the final project report and present it to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Wrap up the final day with the beneficiaries.
