The project aims to impact the SDG #3 by raising awareness on prevention of non-communicable diseases and the importance of mental health.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Understand the organisation, healthcare programmes, and community outreach work.
Research common health concerns and awareness topics relevant to the community.
Get familiar with healthcare camp procedures, patient registration, and basic records.
Learn about the target communities and their basic healthcare needs.
Week 2
Engage with community members and share basic health information.
Assist in planning healthcare camps and community outreach activities.
Help prepare simple awareness materials on hygiene, nutrition, preventive care, and healthy habits.
Support patient registration and coordination during healthcare camps.
Week 3
Assist the team in preparing for upcoming healthcare camps and events.
Assist in conducting workshops on basic health and wellness.
Support preparation of presentations, posters, and other awareness materials.
Help organise community health activities and outreach campaigns.
Collect feedback from participants to understand their needs and concerns.
Week 4
Analyse participation and feedback from community members.
Document key activities and outcomes of the internship.
Prepare a final report highlighting the work completed and community reach.
Share learnings, feedback, and suggestions for improving future healthcare outreach activities.
Compile records of healthcare camps, outreach activities, and awareness sessions.
