The project aims to impact SDG #10 by fostering educational spaces on the basics of inequality as well as promoting local initiative to tackle discrimination and inequality in the community

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Introductory session with beneficiaries presenting volunteers, project objectives, and establishing collaboration. ☐ Run the initial assessment needed for measuring the outcome/impact of the project.
Implementation planning: decide project materials, tools, and timeline for initiatives.
Initial community assessment: identifying real needs and opportunities for change (surveys, interviews, observation).

Onboarding space with partner representatives to understand the current scenario, beneficiaries and discuss about the outcome of the project.
Week 2
Story mapping: Identify who is affected by inequality locally and brainstorm potential solutions.
Working time: student put what I learn in practice and work on a social initiative that can tackle inequality in their community. Group review of each project plan, refine based on feasibility and impact.
Storytelling: Organizing a space to expose student to local experts or activists who work on issues related to inequality to share their experiences, challenges, and successes
Workshop: My role as a citizen and how to become agents of change
Analysis on SDG 10 and inequality in the country and the region
Week 3
Presentation preparation: refine project for final showcase
Working time: Give student time to work on their projects to ensure change in the community after the project ends
Action time: Implement campaigns, workshops or community activities.
Data collection: track participation, reactions and immediate outcomes.
Reflection sessions: daily debriefs to discuss lessons learned and improvements
Week 4
Analyse data to determine outcome/impact results (Projects implemented and outcomes)
Build final report and presented to AIESEC members and NGO/non-profit representatives.
Closing day with beneficiaries
Create follow-up strategies to continue initiatives post-project
Collect data from beneficiaries (you can use surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)
