Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Organize a fun quiz-style activity where children answer simple questions related to numbers, vocabulary, colours, animals or general knowledge.
Onboarding session with the preschool representatives to understand the current situation, the children's needs and discuss the expected outcome of the project.
Introductory session with the children, presentation of the volunteers and project objectives.
Run an initial assessment to understand the children's current level and measure the impact of the project.
Prepare the activities that will be conducted in the following weeks and receive feedback from the preschool and AIESEC.
Create an implementation plan for the project and determine the materials needed.
Week 2
Run creative and movement-based activities to reinforce what was learned during the activities.
Organize group activities encouraging children to communicate, cooperate and learn from each other.
Run educational activities based on the needs and age of the children, such as basic English, numbers, colours and reading.
Introduce children to basic vocabulary and phrases in a new language through engaging and interactive games (e.g. Pictionary, Charades, songs or memory games).
Week 3
Run a short and engaging activity to assess the children's progress.
Provide individual support and feedback based on the children's progress.
Organize activities that encourage children to use the knowledge and vocabulary they have developed throughout the project.
Run educational activities based on the needs and age of the children, such as basic English, numbers, colours and reading.
Run interactive activities to strengthen what was learned during the activities (language games, songs, arts and crafts, movement games, etc.).
Week 4
Debrief the project, discuss the children's development, what went well and what could have been done even better, and include these findings in the final report.
Collect feedback from the children and preschool representatives through simple surveys, conversations or observations.
Analyse the collected data to determine the impact of the project and the development of the beneficiaries throughout the project.
Build the final project report and present it to AIESEC members and preschool representatives.
Closing day with the children.
Run final educational and interactive activities based on the children's needs.
Conduct a final assessment to measure the children's development and compare it with the initial assessment.
