Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Learn about the children, their individual needs and the way activities are organized.
Get familiar with the schedule and responsibilities of the volunteer.
Build a connection with the children through play, communication and everyday activities.
Observe the work of professionals and receive guidance on how to support the children.
Meet the professional staff, volunteers and children and get familiar with the organization and its daily routine.
Week 2
Spend time with the children and assist them during different activities according to their individual needs.
Build stronger relationships with the children through regular interaction and play.
Encourage children to communicate, interact and participate at their own pace.
Help children participate in games, creative activities, communication exercises and everyday tasks.
Support professionals during their daily activities with the children.
Week 3
Observe the children's progress and learn how different approaches are adapted to their individual needs.
Provide individual attention and support to children during activities and exercises.
Assist children with communication, social interaction, play and other activities according to the guidance of professionals.
Participate in outdoor activities, games or other activities organized by the institution.
Week 4
Support children in participating in activities and encourage their independence and confidence.
Organize or support simple creative activities where children can express themselves through art, music or crafts.
Receive feedback from the professional team and discuss the volunteer's contribution throughout the project.
Take part in a small final creative activity or celebration with the children and staff.
