Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Academy Workshop: EPs learn about the project topics and teaching materials and prepare for their assigned roles in delivering learning activities to beneficiaries.
Journey of The Project: EPs are introduced to the project objectives, timeline, responsibilities, and expected outputs while aligning their roles with the project Job Description.
Observations Day: EPs observe the partner school and beneficiaries to understand the learning environment and identify needs that can inform their teaching approach.
City Introduction: EPs explore Semarang’s culture, history, and traditions as preparation for delivering intercultural learning activities.
Curriculum Planning: EPs develop and rehearse lesson plans, teaching materials, and intercultural activities based on their assigned teaching responsibilities.
Week 2
Initial Classroom: EPs deliver an introductory session about their home countries, languages, and cultures through interactive learning activities.
Literacy Journey: EPs facilitate foreign language activities through daily conversations, vocabulary, and writing exercises.
Skill Quest: EPs facilitate creative activities that develop beneficiaries’ practical skills, creativity, and confidence.
Settling4Kids: EPs coordinate their teaching plans, materials, and responsibilities to ensure effective project implementation.
Beyond Culture: EPs facilitate intercultural activities that introduce beneficiaries to different cultures and perspectives.
Week 3
Global Village: EPs represent their home countries through cultural presentations and interactive activities for beneficiaries and the public.
Prep Day: EPs prepare cultural materials, presentations, and interactive activities for the Global Village.
Dreams in Words: EPs facilitate creative writing activities that encourage beneficiaries to express their aspirations in a foreign language.
Young Performers: EPs guide beneficiaries in preparing and performing activities that demonstrate their learning and development.
Beyond the Stage: EPs facilitate theater activities that develop beneficiaries’ foreign language skills, creativity, and confidence.
Art Discovery: EPs facilitate art activities that encourage creativity and self-expression among beneficiaries.
Week 4
Farewell Party: EPs reflect on their project contributions, share their experiences, and officially conclude their project journey.
Literacy Journey: EPs facilitate foreign language activities to reinforce beneficiaries’ communication and literacy skills.
Wander Walk: EPs participate in an outdoor bonding activity with Local Volunteers to strengthen teamwork and intercultural exchange.
Close the Book: EPs collect beneficiary feedback and testimonials and contribute observations for project evaluation.
Final Report and Farewell with OP Taker: EPs participate in the final evaluation, share project outcomes and observations, and support the closing activity with beneficiaries.
Beyond Culture: EPs facilitate intercultural activities that reinforce beneficiaries’ understanding of different cultures.
