The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Build trust and positive relationships with the children.
Learn the center's safety and childcare procedures
Participate in icebreaker games, storytelling, music, and simple art activities.
Observe classroom dynamics and support teachers during activities.
Get to know the children, teachers, and daily routines.
Week 2
Support children's social, emotional, and communication skills.
Assist children during snack time, outdoor play, and transitions between activities.
Encourage teamwork, sharing, and inclusion among children.
Conduct creative workshops such as arts & crafts, music, dance, and movement games.
Organize and lead age-appropriate games and group activities.
Week 3
Continue assisting teachers with classroom routines.
Introduce children to different cultures through games, songs, stories, and simple presentations.
Organize interactive educational activities that stimulate creativity and imagination.
Support language development through conversations, storytelling, and vocabulary games.
Participate actively in outdoor activities and physical games.
Week 4
Prepare a simple cultural or talent-sharing session for the children.
Encourage every child to participate and celebrate their achievements.
Assist teachers in documenting activities and organizing classroom materials.
Reflect on the experience with the preschool team and provide feedback for future volunteers.
Plan and organize a fun closing week with games and creative activities.
