The project aims to contribute to SDG #17 by building up the capacity of local NGO, non-profit organizations and/or foundations to contribute to social impact in their communities by collaborating with local social projects and engaging with grass-groot initiatives.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Preparation of a report identifying equipment that requires maintenance or replacement.
Initial meeting with the staff to identify the requirements for the new website.
Inventory of all computers available in the classrooms.
Assessment of the condition and functionality of each computer.
Week 2
Planning the structure and content of the new website.
Organising and selecting photos, texts, and other materials for the website.
Performing basic maintenance on computers (cleaning, updates, and performance optimisation).
Testing the equipment after maintenance.
Week 3
Installing or updating the required software on functioning computers.
Developing the main pages of the new website.
Reviewing and updating website content.
Identifying computers that require specialised technical repair.
Week 4
Delivering the completed website and the IT maintenance report to the organisation.
Final testing and optimisation of the new website.
Presenting the website to the staff and collecting feedback.
Preparing a final report on the condition of the IT equipment, including recommendations for repairs or replacement.
