Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Walk and Write: A one-day city tour in Johor Bahru to improve students' writing skills through practical journalling
Book Donation Drive: A collaborative program with local libraries to collect donated books to distribute to the charity school
Global Class: Daily classes focusing on English, Science and Maths
Writing Workshop: A workshop focused on developing students' writing skills
Week 2
Robotic Workshop: A workshop on robotics to educate and build interest of the students towards STEM
Science Centre Visit: A half-day visit to a local science centre to build interest of the students towards STEM
Leadership Bootcamp: A 3-day-2-night bootcamp for local teenagers to develop youth leadership and self discovery amongst themselves
Global Village: A cultural event to promote different cultures to local teenagers through booths and interactive performances
Global Class: Daily classes focusing on English, Science and Maths
Week 3
English Language Day: A one-day activity where students will learn English interactively through drama role-playing
Global Class: Daily classes focusing on English, Science and Maths
Week 4
Appreciation Space: A half-day appreciation space with the charity school to reflect on the entire volunteering experience and show appreciation to the volunteers and students
Global Class: Daily classes focusing on English, Science and Maths
Entrepreneurship Day: A one-day activity where students learn entrepreneurial skills through business simulation
