Project
The project aims to impact SDG #15 by building up communities' capacity to respond and act upon the degradation of natural habitat, diversity loss, and the protection of wildlife.

Take urgent and significant action to reduce the degradation of natural habitats, halt the loss of biodiversity and, by 2020, protect and prevent the extinction of threatened species.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Getting know Animal Rescue Center.
Meeting with Veterinarians.
Understanding the center’s operations, animal needs, and their own role in the project.
Participating Animal Surgeries at Clinic.
Week 2
Learn about animal nutrition, vaccination, and shelter maintenance.
Understanding animal welfare and basic veterinary procedures
Assist in simple care tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and grooming.
Participating at surgeries in Clinic.
Week 3
Assist with animal rehabilitation and recovery care.
Help with record-keeping and organizing medical tools or supplies.
Engaging with animals.
Week 4
Complete the experience with enhanced awareness about animal protection and environmental responsibility.
Getting unique experience about Veterinary Field, Animal Shelter and Animal Surgeons.
Continue assisting in daily care and treatment of animals.
Participate in a reflection session with AIESEC for checkpoints.
