Project
The project aims to aims to impact the SDG #4 by developing high-level cognitive and transferable skills to people at all ages through activities and/or workshops connected to arts production (e.g painting, sculpture, music, theatre, photography...)

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Onboarding Getto know staff and beneficiaries
Determine outcome measurement system and data collection materials
Training on how to manage and engage with project beneficiaries
Shadowing atthe workplace to understand routines and beneficiary profiles
Onboarding space with a partner to align expectations on artistic focus and beneficiaries' development
Week 2
Interactive classes to understand beneficiaries' artistic backgrounds and personal and professional aspirations
Build and present an activities calendar progressing from practical learning to hands-on experiences (peer tutoring, chain drawings, jigsaws, etc.)
Design and prepare educational methodology and materials (activity instructions, raw materials,tools)
First steps Introductory session aboutthe project, SDG focus, and presentation ofthe volunteer to participants
Week 3
Track participant progress weekly through a coaching system
Developing skills
Run introductory artistic activities to expose beneficiaries to different artistic media (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, etc.)

Create a Personal Development Plan (PDP) for each participant
Week 4
Explore the city's cultural and artistic scene outside the classroom (museums, galleries, local projects, art schools, artist panels)
Deliver lessons connecting art and creativity development with beneficiaries' future goals and plans
Present data on Arts & Employability and assign case studies or group presentations on the topic
Use libraries and computer labs to diversify research spaces and support interactive learning
