Project
The project aims to contribute to SDG #4 by providing and opening space for quality education for people of all ages, ensuring educational opportunities from initial literacy to other subjects such as mathematics, science and languages.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Onboarding space with school/NGO representative to understand current scenario. What are the main needs of the students? (English level, creativity skills, confidence, etc.)
Determine measure of outcome system and material to be used (reading level, speaking ability, creative expression, participation)
Training on how to manage and engage with project beneficiaries
Design and create educational materials (basic grammar sheets, vocabulary lists, activity plans, craft templates, etc.)
Setting up a buddy system for the beneficiaries/learners
Week 2
Conduct initial assessment of students (language skills / creativity skills
Conduct basic sessions on communication, vocabulary, and creative activities
Create a PDP for each participant and begin weekly tracking
Introductory session and presentation of the volunteer to the students
Week 3
Run weekly tests to assess main learnings from the week (oral tests, worksheets / creative output evaluation)
Run lessons based on the needs of the student or the NGO (reading skills, grammar, speaking / drawing, craft techniques, creative projects)
Run dynamics to strengthen what was learned in the lesson of the week (speaking activities, word games / group art, craft activities, creative challenges)
Run personalized coaching meeting
Week 4
Conduct presentations and group activities to showcase learning (speaking, storytelling, art, craft projects)
Hold personalized coaching sessions and final assessments to measure progres
Organize a closing event including competitions, exhibitions, or performances Collect feedback and data from beneficiaries (surveys, interviews, observations)
Analyze results and prepare a final report to present to NGO members and stakeholdersAnalyze results and prepare a final report to present to NGO members and stakeholders
Run final lessons and reinforcement activities based on student needs (communication, creativity, and practical application)
