Project
The project aims to impact SDG 4.7 by equipping youth with critical thinking, emotional intelligence, social skills, and sustainable practices through a holistic educational approach. Integrating interdisciplinary learning, social-emotional and wellness education, as well as community engagement, it fosters well-rounded individuals ready to address real-world challenges and promote global citizenship.

Role

Project Activities

Week 1
Initial observation of children’s behavior and group dynamics
Introductory session: presentation, ice-breakers, and team-building games
Define safety guidelines and group management rules
Prepare materials for manual activities and group games
Onboarding with partner to understand children’s age group, needs, and context
Co-create weekly activity plan (games, workshops, outings)
Week 2
Ensure daily group management and safety monitoring
Promote values of teamwork, respect, and sharing through activities
Conduct creative workshops (drawing, crafts, DIY activities)
Organize large group games (team challenges, outdoor activities)
Week 3
Plan and execute an outing or special event (if applicable)
Introduce more structured activities (mini-projects, themed days)
Encourage children to take small responsibilities within the group
Organize educational games linked to citizenship and social values
Strengthen group cohesion and inclusion
Week 4
Organize final big games and collaborative activities
Prepare a small closing event/show (games, presentations, mini exhibition)
Evaluate children’s participation and social development
Closing session with feedback (children + partner)
